Every driver on DriverXchange goes through a rigorous verification process before they can accept shifts. Here's exactly how it works.
Verification Timeline
Driving Licence Upload
Drivers upload front and back of their DVLA driving licence. We verify the licence class, expiry, and check for endorsements.
DVLA Check
A full DVLA licence check is run within 30 days. This confirms entitlements, endorsements, and that the licence is valid.
CPC Card Validation
Certificate of Professional Competence card number is verified against the DVSA database to confirm the driver is CPC qualified.
Tachograph Card
Tachograph card details are verified to ensure the driver can legally operate vehicles requiring tachograph recording.
Right to Work Check
Proof of right to work in the UK is reviewed (passport or share code). Required by law before any employment begins.
Verified Badge Awarded
Once all checks pass, the driver receives a green Verified badge on their profile, visible to all businesses.
The Verified Driver BadgeVerified
A green Verified badge appears on a driver's profile only when all 5 checks have passed: DVLA licence, DVLA check, CPC card, tachograph card, and right to work. Businesses can filter to show only verified drivers for complete peace of mind.
